Water from Thin Air? How About That?

Even the poor bird realizes the water shortage crisis in our world. Do you?

When I read about the above in the newspapers, I was like "Is that possible??" Yes, “pure drinking water can be produced from thin air”, as claimed by the company called Cleanwater Ltd.

When I read about it, WOW, if this is possible, what an invention for mankind! Although water covers 2/3 of the earth, only 2.5% is not drinkable (not salty), and majority of that are locked up in glaciers and icecaps. In our world today, fresh and clean water is running out, and one in five people in this world has no access to clean drinking water.

Of course, for us fortunate ones (yes, you there reading this on your nice shiny laptops in a posh cafe), clean water is not at all a concern. Run over to the nearest convenient store or supermarket and bottled water is available for drinking. Well here's a fact though: to produce one litre of bottled water, SEVEN litres of water is used up in the process! Not to mention the amount of waste is generated from the use of plastic bottles. :-O

So what about producing our own water from home from AIR?! Not a bad idea at all right? The technology of Cleanwater's atmospheric water making system, is that it draws moisture out of the air and condenses it to crystal clear drinking water. The product is called atmospheric water, which is the purest form of nature's water, which promotes 100% human cell absorption as compared to normal tap/bottled water.

I don't know whether this is as good as it sounds, but with technology, I think anything is possible in this world. We have to think the smart ones behind this clever thingie if that equals to clean water for everyone :-D !
